About Kelly
Mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister. To know Kelly is to love Kelly.
When Kelly entered a room, her enthusiasm filled it, giving it a buzz not unlike a static charge ready to spark.
When she got an idea, it would be no halfway attempt. For festivals, she'd wear colors so bright a rainbow felt dull. Her favorite candies weren't just sweet, they'd make normal palates pucker. When pursuing life goals, it was all about bringing care and comfort to people who needed it most.
While Kelly called many places in this country home at one point or another, she was forever a Nevadan, right down to wearing a parka if the Mojave Desert ever dropped below 60 degrees. By preserving a piece of the Sierra in her name, we preserve a piece of her in the state she loved.
We hope your visit to her vista took your breath away. You can thank Kelly for any sense of peace, burst of energy, or spontaneity up there.
If she had unspoken rules of life, it was this: Don't live quietly, and never, ever be boring.
